Ricardo (Rico) H. Correia, President , is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts & Suffolk University School of Law.  He combines his education with over 20 years of Human Resource management and business development experience.  Upon the completion of his JD accreditation, Mr. Correia decided to pursue a career in business.  In 1979, just after graduating Law School, Mr. Correia became one of the founding partners of Sunburst Systems Corporation, an alternative energy corporation.  He held the position of President until his departure in 1982.   He joined Wang Laboratories, Inc., in 1982 as the Manager and Assistant Director of Human Resources and Administration.  He held that position until 1987 when he left to assume the position of Director of Human Resources and Administration of CH2M Hill.  In 1990 he was promoted to Vice President of Regulatory Affairs and Operations.  Mr. Correia left the company and it's Denver, Colorado offices in 1992 to take the post of Director of Human Resources at ESPN, The Sports Television Network.  At ESPN, Mr. Correia's duties included handling all aspects of human resources, HR information systems, employee relations, compensation, benefits and staff development. In 1994 Mr. Correia founded Centaur Consulting Inc. as its President and CEO. Mr. Correia is a nationally recognized motivational speaker in the areas of Professional & Personal Development, Emerging Markets and Diversity Awareness having delivered hundreds of seminars and keynotes to over 20,000 participants. In addition, he is a published author and sits on the Board of Directors of OneSource Entertainment Corp.

 
Ana M. Correia, Director of Marketing/Client  Services
Ana posesses over 10 years of project management and client development experience in the non-profit business sector. Ana joined Centaur Consulting in 2005 and works directly within all project management areas enhancing program development and business effectiveness.


 Her responsibilities include Market Development, Client Services and   Administrative oversight. Ana brings her extensive Non-profit and Healthcare experience in Hippa, EOEA, EEOC, and regulatory compliance to the firm. In addition, she provides client support, program oversight and work directly with CEO on program development and client project management. In addition to her experience as a client manager Ana is a certified paralegal, is bilingual and worked for the Massachusetts Third district Court in the Victims and Witness Unit. She is also a recipient of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Community Service Award.

Alfred J. Horton Jr., Business Development Directorhas over 15 years of combined military, corporate and non-profit background including Senior Human Resources management experience.  He joined Centaur Consulting, Inc., to provide expertise in Business and Organizational Development, Employee/Labor Relations, and Strategic Planning. He has worked for such companies as Time Warner, Cablevision, and Aberdeen Proving Ground Federal Credit Union.  His work history includes extensive hands-on experience in enhancing operational effectiveness, implementing sustained change management initiatives and aligning HR goals with business imperatives. He possesses well developed analytical and leadership skills as a human resources generalist and the ability to drive organizational advancement to its highest potential.

 

As a volunteer, he serves on the Board of the National Association of African Americans in Human Resources and as served in various leadership roles with Society for Human Resources Management, Chesapeake Chapter; National Association for Multi-Ethnicity in Communications; March of Dimes; Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.; and Big Brother, Big Sister.  During his military service period, he received a number of citations and awards including a Sea Service Deployment ribbon, Meritorious Mass (Performance Award) and a Naval Achievement Medal.  He is certified as Human Resources Professional (SHRM/HRCI) and has a Masters in Human Resources Management from New School University, New York City.

                     

Ted Williams, Director Program Development

Ted is a Sr. Consultant with over 20 years of Human Resources and Organizational Development Resources. He is a graduate of the University of California (Berkley) and  a retired Marine Officer. Mr. Williams has twenty years of varied Human resource experience. He has functioned successfully in the following Human resource disciplines: labor relations, compensation, recruiting, affirmative action, employee relations, organizational development and training, possessing the experience to provide client service in each of those areas. 

 

Currently his major focus is the design, development and presentation of developmental training programs. Mr. Williams has worked for Columbia Pictures, RCA, and General Motors Home Services. He has also provided consulting services for client companies; Staples, Con-Edison, Cablevision and Avis Rent-A-Car.
